Podcasts: Scarlet and White 2×25 – “Standing Ovation”

How many times can a person truly be counted on to get a standing ovation from a crowd of people? Andrew Mason will experience one of those times this Saturday when he is honored as part of Senior Day for BU Women’s Basketball. Max Wolpoff was an actor in high school, so he got plenty of standing ovations.

The final weekend of games are on the slate for BU Women’s hockey. They are four points out of that second seed in Hockey East. With a lot of help and two wins this weekend, they have a chance to grab it from Boston College.

BU Men’s basketball is tied for last and the Women’s team is in third as the Patriot League playoffs draw near. Both are playing big contests at home this weekend.

San Diego made a big splash by signing Manny Machado to a whole lot of money. The Ottawa Senators continue their rebuild by trading Matt Duchene to the loading-up-and-going-for-it Columbus Blue Jackets.

Can you believe there are only two weeks left until Spring Break? No? Neither can we.
