Men’s Soccer: Terriers selected 2nd in Preseason Poll

Heading into the 34th year of head coach Neil Roberts’ tenure, the Boston University Men’s Soccer Team earned second place in the 2018 Patriot League Preseason Poll.

Receiving two of 20 first-place votes, and the only team besides first-ranked Loyola-Maryland with first-place nods, the Terriers play their Patriot League opener at home on Nickerson Field on Saturday September 22 at 1:00 p.m. against American. The Terriers have seven non-conference matches preceding Patriot League play.

Sophomore midfielder Toti Knutsson served as the Terriers lone representative on the Preseason All-Patriot League squad. The Gardabaer, Iceland native earned All-Conference Second Team honors last fall after posting a team-high 11 points on three goals and five assists.
