Live Blog: Frozen Fenway 2017 BU vs UMass

END Third Period: Gabe Chabot gets one last tally, and a late UMass goal made it interesting, but BU tops UMass 5-3. Post game coverage to come.

5:09 Third Period: Chad Krys sent a backhand shot on net to make it 4-2 BU, his second goal of the season.

11:39 Third Period: While short handed, UMass gets an odd man rush and cuts the game to 3-2.

END Second Period: 3-1 Terriers after two.

3:05 Second Period: Following another BU power play, a turnover leads to UMass getting on the board with a goal from freshman Griff Jeszka.

6:08 Second Period: As the Terriers get on the power play, instead of in the box as it seems they have been all period, Charlie McAvoy tallies right at the top of the far circle to give BU a 3-0 lead.

8:27 Second Period: Another BU goal, another tally for JFK to make it 2-0 on what was the longest period of possession for the Terriers all period.

11:28 Second Period: The Terriers are going to the box for the third time in the period and are being outshot in the second frame 4-2.

END First Period: BU ends the first period with a 1-0 lead and tied in shots with UMass at 9-9.

0:28 First Period: JFK puts UMass on the board to give the Terriers the first lead of the game, 1-0. Excellent play that he created on his own skating from the wall over to the crease.

11:30 First Period: No score yet, BU is outshooting UMass 5-4 after Jake Oettinger comes up with a big save.

1:34pm: Underway!
